With more than ten years of experience in the field of behavioral psychology and its use in a high-stakes decision-making setting, Maria can provide valuable insights. She started her career in academia and researched the cognitive biases that affect the evaluation of risk. She has worked as a consultant in financial institutions and then shifted to the iGaming sector, where she realized that there was an urgent need to fill the gap between the operators of the platforms and the psychology of the players. Her research focuses on developing transparent systems that prioritize the well-being of the players.
